Who Are You? – Meet Frank Agin

Happy Thursday to all of my connections. I recently networked and spoke with Frank Agin of the Columbus, Ohio area.

I wanted to share his Bio and background as I am a net-worker and people person as well. When you enjoy what you do — it never feels like work. I love working with people, and I love helping people. Everyday I try to learn something new — and I am glad for our connections! Thank you all!

 

Meet Frank Agin – Founder and President of AmSpirit Business Connections

Frank Agin is the founder and president of AmSpirit Business Connections, an organization that empowers entrepreneurs, sales representatives and professionals to become more successful through networking.

As AmSpirit Business Connections has grown, Frank has established himself as an authority on professionals networking and business relationship development. He has written various articles on professional networking, is a sought after presenter on this topic (including using social media in business) and consults with companies and organizations on how to make a more effective use of business relationships.

Finally, Frank is the author of a book entitled Foundational Networking: Creating Know, Like & Trust For A Lifetime of Extraordinary Success, and is also the co-author of LinkedWorking: Generating Success of the World’s Largest Professional Networking Website and The Champion: Finding The Most Valuable Person In Your Network.

Along with having a CPA designation, he has an undergraduate economics and management degree from Beloit College (Beloit, Wisconsin) and an MBA and law degree from the Ohio State University.

Job Summary:

Insurance Advisors, Inc. is a Managing General Agency whose core mission is providing excellent support services to our dynamic Sales Force team. The Case Manager is primarily responsible for coordinating all aspects of case management and implementation processes for Life, Long-Term Care and Disability Insurance policies.

We are looking for

• An enthusiastic and committed team member to help grow the business. You will learn various facets of Life and Health Insurance from experts in the insurance field.
• A dynamic and innovative mindset to help support the growth and demand of our Insurance Carriers unique and ever-changing product lines.
• A successful candidate who possesses the keen ability to efficiently and effectively process, track and record data daily basis.

CASE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain Agency and Case Management database
• Prepare new applications for submission to Insurance Carriers inclusive of complete insurance policy workflow process (contracting, licensing, ordering exams, paperwork, submission, underwriting requirements, etc.)
• Maintains primary ownership of cases during the underwriting process which requires engaging in frequent communication and coordination between life insurance carriers, internal resources and vendors.
• Provide online quotes to Agents as requested utilizing the available technology
• Answer incoming calls
• Assist with Special Projects such as assembly of marketing materials and logistics coordination for training classes
• Order Carrier sells and marketing materials as requested
• Generate status reports for Brokers as needed
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of workflow processes, ordering information on-line and business management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
• Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web based software imperative
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced and sometimes pressured environment
